Il s'agit d'un tannage minéral n'utilisant pas de chrome ni de produits chimiques. Ce tannage est certifié ECO-CERT; il garantit donc que la fabrication de ce produit est respectueuse des hommes et de l'environement;
Pour l'entretien régulier, vous pouvez passer l'aspirateur (avec le tube directement sans le balai pour que les poils ne se prennent pas dedans) et vous pouvez aussi secouer la peau à l'exterieur pour enlever la poussière.
En cas de petits incidents (animaux... ou vin, thé, café, mayonnaise, etc.) ous pouvez nettoyer le coté poil avec une éponge et du savon (de Marseille de préférence) ou du liquide vaisselle doux pour les mains.
Pour l'envers vous pouvez passer l'éponge humide mais ne pas mouiller la peau, ni ne l'immerger totalement dans l'eau. Laissez sécher à l'air libre mais sans source de chaleur directe (séche-cheveux, radiateurs, et autres sont déconseillés).
