Tips for choosing the lining:
Suede is naturally non-slip, which is practical to prevent the blanket or cover from slipping off its support or when you have it on you.
Felt is also non-slip but is heavier and warmer. This may be desirable if you want a very warm and "enveloping" blanket or bedspread.
